State Healthy Soils Map

In 2018, The Carbon Project joined forces with the volunteer group Nerds for Earth, and soil advocates Steven Keilti and Isabelle Jennichs, a collaboration that led to new alliances with grassroots organizations and advocates across the United States and that resulted in the creation of the State Soil Health Policy Map in 2019 to showcase information on state-level soil health policy.

As an interactive educational piece, The State Healthy Soils Policy Map has served as the basis for several policy campaigns, including Regenerate America, and provided information to citizens and elected officials on the details of state-level soil health policy and lessons learned.

The Soil Health Policy map was made possible by volunteer support from Steven Keilti, Nerds for Earth and the Jena & Michael King Foundation.
